Mark channels as unread

If you read messages in a channel, but don't have time to address them right away, you can mark that channel as unread. Hover over the channel name in the channel sidebar, select the More <img src={useBaseUrl('/img/ui/dots-vertical_F01D9.svg')} alt="Use the More icon in the top left corner to access Mattermost desktop apps customization settings." className="theme-icon" /> option, then select Mark as Unread.

When you hover over channels in the channel sidebar, you can access more message options from the More icon.

Marking messages as unread displays those channels as bold in the channel sidebar.
